The Framework is Abeille Assurances' global design system. It is a five-year-old reusable responsive web UI library and front-end CSS / HTML codebase used by global digital product and engineering teams to deliver maintainable experiences for our customers and intermediaries.

Accessibility audits

Accessibility remains an integral part of all Framework patterns and components. It is baked into both design thinking and code with the highest WCAG compliancy possible. An evaluation of how well your product supports the needs of web users with disabilities are carried out by our expert accessibility consultants and people with disabilities.

  • Journeys using the Framework are more accessible than those that do not
  • Evidenced in multiple audits including Santander, WPP and Abeille Assurances Save
  • Poor FW implementation leads to low compliance, eg. LI journey, Abeille Assurances Save
  • Journeys attempting to replicate the FW appearance whilst using their own code are proving to be completely inaccessible

The Framework team

Our core team consists of of process leads, designers and developers, based in both Bois-Colombes, FRANCE.

We work in two- week Agile sprints to produce new components for the design system, drawing from a backlog which exists in Jira and which is fed from all over the business, both domestic and globally.
